Week of April 15

Monday-

We are writing reading letters to a buddy this week! We choose a topic and write to a friend. They respond to our letter!

On Tuesday, we learned more about a scientist who collects data and writes scientific papers.

Wednesday-

We are playing with fun Vermont facts! Ask us about Vermont's history!

Mrs. Randall made a fun game to help us learn more about the people in Vermont who work in our government.

We have been working over the last few days on a question we have about Vermont. The more we learn the more questions we have! We worked on our individual mini-research starting with our question, then our claim and evidence to support. We thought of fun ways to share this knowledge with others and presented our findings Thursday and Friday this week.

After we presented, our classmates asked us further questions!

Mrs. Randall read us a Vermont history article and then we read it on our own to record more reading thoughts and questions. After, we met with book club friends to discuss our notes so we could dig deeper into the informational text.

Did you know that the Morgan Horse is Vermont's state animal? This was my (Skyler) question and we watched this movie to learn more!

We are now back from break-April 29th!
