 A little about me...

I have some incredible teacher besties!

Every summer my kids and I pick berries-strawberries, blueberries and raspberries! 

I love biking!

I love the beach, pizza, and a good book!

I believe in hands-on-learning and exploring the world (my family and I explored The Met this summer)!

We are Yankee fans!  Even when they aren't playing their best...  :)

Welcome to our class blog-2023!

 Happy Summer!  I hope you are enjoying yourself!  I've been finding balance between teaching summer school and raising busy teenagers!  

Lots of time in the car (both kids drive but I prefer to be in the driver's seat)!Strawberry picking!

  

I love watching Easton play baseball (his favorite sport).

I love watching Sofia play soccer (her favorite sport)!  She is holding the trophy they won at a tournament this summer.

I love to travel and have adventures!

 Mrs. Dolan will be working in our classroom!  We have been friends for over 18 years!

Soak up the sunshine and I will see you on the first day of school, Wednesday August 30, 2023!

It's almost hatch day!

 We are super excited to welcome some egg laying chicks into the world!  Hatch day is on Monday May 22nd.  Keep a close eye on our incubator for some action!

Summer Fun!

 Hello and welcome to our class blog!  I can't wait to see you on August 31st!  Here is a quick glimpse at some of my summer adventures!  

We spend lots of family time in Maine.

Both of our children play sports and are on travel teams.  We had many road trips all over New England! 

 I read MANY books over the summer! 

Our kids started a pet-sitting business many years ago...we love dogs! 

Spending time with my teacher friends is good for the soul!

 24 hours of work before they hatch).

 Hello and welcome to the month of August! I can't wait to see you all on the 25th!  

What have you been up to this summer?  We've done a lot of strawberry and blueberry picking!

I love running and one of my favorite local places to run is at Catamount!  What do you like to do outside?

I also love reading!  I've taken a few courses this summer, so I read lots of academic books...but I really enjoy children's books!  Here are some of my most recent recommendations!
