Week of October 13, 2015

We are using teamwork in math!

We watched a video of one of Lake Champlain Maritime Museum's shipwreck discoveries.

We presented our research on the county we think everyone should visit!

Beck was student of the week! Next week Easton will be student of the week!

Ask us about our addition and subtraction strategies!

We Skyped with one of Glogster's creators! He lives in Prague, Czech Republic. We will be creating Glogs and working with a fourth grade class there!

We have been talking about a book's theme. We chose characters and what we've learned from them. Check out our bulletin board outside our classroom.

We danced like a crazy singing banana that liked peanut butter and jelly for one of our motor breaks!

More Multiplication Masters!

Do you know why Earth has seasons?

We had fun at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum!
We saw many artifacts that have been discovered on the bottom of Lake Champlain.

We pretended we were going on an underwater dig!

Looking at plankton. We gathered lots of data!

We rowed on Lake Champlain to the Basin Harbor Club!

We caught plankton to put into containers to look at under the microscope.

We caught fish and identified them! One of them is called a Bluegill.

Some of us used waiters to walk deep into the water to catch fish in a large net.

Our arms were sore after from rowing so much!

The sun was shining and the birds were flying south.

Paddles up!

All smiles!

They have many cool boats!

We were ready!

We used this secchi disk to gather data on the water clarity.

We discussed what our plan was.

Check out who is hanging out on Pier 39 by the Pacific Ocean! Safe travels Avela and we will see you back in Vermont soon!

We had fun making this blog
