Monday 2 more days of school left!

In gym we played with a giant inflatable cube and a parachute

During snack we designed special thank you cards for some teachers

In reading we finished some book recommendation sheets to give to 3rd graders

We also reviewed our math homework

We had lunch outside with the whole school

After that we had field day :) it was SOOOO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Tuesday 1 more day of school left!

 

We made a tagxedo on our 4th grade memories, The list was BIG!!

We wrote about our hopes and dreams: did we complete them?

We also cleaned out our browser boxes

At morning meeting we sang songs that each 4th grade class chose earlier

Then we had a slide show

In guidance we tried to get across a "lava pit" with crates

That was fun!

Then for move up day we visited our kindergarten teachers

Chemistry

We did a workshop on chemistry where we tried to separate three cups of food coloring without having the colors mix. The yellow was the only one that had salt in it, which made it more dense. We learned that the color of the liquid did not matter, only the density of the liquid. Also, We worked with dry ice, and wow, when put it in ceartin liquid and wow, did it bubble!

Mrs.Randall finished the Burlinton marathon in 3:37 minutes and was in 405th place out of 2418 marathoners. Lily ran the last leg of the marathon and loved it!

We started our end of year math assesment

We had some time to do our DRA, wax museum speech and Digital Media project

We had lunch on sheets on the floor

We each chose an organism and got a field guide and studied that organism

Mr.B's class did the wax museum and we got to listen to their speech,s

We used balance scales during investigations to create balanced equations. It's a fun program that Mrs.Randall uses called Hands on Equations.
