We started a new math unit! Geometry and measurement!
To learn more about geometry, we used glow sticks to make shapes. We started with basic geometric shapes, then got more challenging. Mrs Randall is starting an after school math program where you can do fun stuff like this!

This group made lots of small squares...60! We also use styrofoam balls to make 3-D shapes.
We use triangles to make hexagons.
We use the glow sticks to make a base and stick tiny glow sticks in the balls to make them glow and make a pyramid.
