Week of September 8

Ask us about these topics!!

Using our magnificent brain to do math-what does that look like?

Learning to be assertive at second step-how did the home link go?

Learning about red clover books in calm.

Doing a buzz at reading work shop-we created a chart to guide us when we talk with each other about text.

Ask us about how we used the digital version of our news magazine! Mrs. Randall was out on Wednesday because Sofia was sick. She created a cool video to help us do our job! Ask us about it!

Mrs. T was our student of the week! She brought in her me bag to share more about herself with us! Next week the student of the week will be Adah.

In second step, we focused on being assertive. This means we get what we want or need in a respectful way.

In math we shared how using a visual model is helpful when multiplying or dividing.

In science, we used our sketchbooks to generate all of our questions! We are wondering a lot when it comes to the solar system!

We are practicing listening with attention! We give each other eye contact and ask questions to find ourt more!

Mr Lane taught us a cool strategy to show others you care! Ask us what this equation means!!!

Math games!

Happy birthday Greta!! Thank you for the treats!

In current events, we took a closer look at finding the main idea, topic or detail when we read non-fiction text. We had a class debate on if doing chores at home should be a law!

Good luck to Cooper and Mrs. Randall in the color run tomorrow! We can't wait to see pictures!
