Week of September 26, 2016

Annabelle was our student of the week! She shared her me bag.
Word study groups met and sorted their pattern. We work with patterns for two weeks. Ask us about a game we played on Spellingcity.
Reading partners buzz about how they mark up the text using post it notes.
We started writing reading letters to Mrs. Randall.
We reflected on which multiplication combinations we are working on.
Then, we used the area model to use what we know to figure out combinations we don't know. Cd
As writers, we are thinking about how we delelop a character that is complex.

In math, one strategy we use to find all the factors of a number is a factor rainbow.

We also use the area model to break apart numbers into arrays we know. We use square units when finding area.
