We are working on a social studies project in our family groups. We are created a detailed Vermont map to use in our geography unit. The next time we travel around Vermont, ask us to keep track on a map!

In science, we noticed all of the cool organisms in our water sample from Lake Champlain. Mrs. Fary had her students use super microscopes to take pictures and video of what is in the water!!

We watched a video about Galileo Galilei. One of his quotes is in our read aloud book! After, we listened to an interview with the author Jennifer Holm.
We thought this was powerful, so we printed it out and added it to our inspiration board.
We can't wait to begin communicating with others around the world next week as part of the Global Read Aloud Project! We will do two mystery Skypes! After, we will join an Edmodo group and discuss the text through writing!
