Week of March 28, 2016

There's lots of drama in history to record. Together we identified the main idea from a passage about Paul Revere's ride. Then we each picked dramatic details that brought the story to life.
Making conclusions better for our literary essays by focusing on what we wanted our readers to be left thinking about!
Skip counting by 0.05 to practice talking about decimals.
We made concept maps and discussed which characteristics had the biggest impact on individual perspectives.

We thought about the events leading up to the revolutionary war as British and colonial men, women, or children.
Some colonists felt sad and mad about the war so focused on sewing instead.

King George posing for a portrait and counting the tax money with the queen.

Some British soldiers training.

Working on our revolutionary war perspective presentations and this group is working on taxes.

Another group working hard.

One group is making a hut.

Dress rehersals!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I am so impressed with all of your efforts! I loved seeing King George in that fur coat and the anchor charts are helpful visuals/evidence of your thinking!
