We are working with arrays this week.
We played a math game with arrays called big array/small array.
We were working on our solar system mini research projects
I reading we practiced finding the main idea. We read an article called Why do We Laugh? We found the important points and then wrote a piece about what makes us laugh.
We finished our maps that we made in social studies.
In guidance we are working on listening.
Mrs. Randall taught us how to share document in Google and we brainstorms some helpful comments we can give other writers.
Mrs. Randall shared an app on her iPad to help us organize our thoughts. Aspen is using this app to help her plan her book talk.
We are writing reading letters to Mrs. Randall and Mrs. Lee each week. They write letters back to us!
We are almost done with An Elephant In The Garden.
We are working on splitting arrays in math this week.
We are doing lots of math games. They are very fun.
In read aloud we are on page 190 for An Elephant In The Garden.
In ELF, we explored trees! We looked closely at a section to find the age of the tree. The center point is called the pith.
We went outside in E.L.F. to do a scavenger hunt.
Everyone was doing the scavenger hunt in the outdoor classroom.
